Subject	Question regarding wet sanding?

Message	I just got a fresh coat of paint, how long should I wait for the paint to cure before I get it to wet sand it down and polish. I notice that at the shop, a lots of cars they just finish painted it and they wet sand it the next day or two. thanks adam
