Message having owned one before buying my TTZ I can definitely say they are fantastic cars with plently of power and the best high speed stability and road manners of any car I have ever driven, that includes my TTZ with all its suspension mods. I could power slide that car at 80mph in the pouring rain through an on or off ramp with complete control and stability...fantastic handling as they have perfect 50/50 weight balance. Parts and labor are of course expensive but no more so than owning a TTZ. models to look for are from 1983 on. Best is if you can find a late 80's S4 in good condition.
