Message I had a similar problem with an older 85 Z with its headlights. Switch was a circular type (like the windshield wiper) and the leads started to touch and run the battery down at night. Sounds like your switch is constantly in the closed position (applying power to the wiper motor) so they run all the time. You could try and pull the switch out and screw with it, or just replace it. I've never dealt with a wiper switch, I was just assuming from previous electrical switch experiences, what the problem was. Others may post differing opinions, but that is mine.... =)
