I don't know if i can post this story here. I guess if it has dissapeared next time I sign on, that means I can't, but I thought it would be humorous to us import people. Tonight my husband and I are riding around in his RX7 (beat up looking 2nd gen which happened to dyno at 341RWHP at 12psi. he's currently running ~16psi so it's faster than it looks(his mods are listed if you click on the pic of his car off my homepage)). We pull into a gas station. A loud mustang pulls in. It's 2 guys and their girlfriends. The passenger says "you wanna run?" my husband says "what have you got done to it?" guy says "it's got a 347 stroker in it". husband asks how much power it has? and guys says "right at 700 at the rear axle". I'm sitting in the passenger seat of the 7 and I have a big mouth :) so I laugh and say WHAT? 700 hp my ass!
we're like whatever and we drive off. we see them later and now, a new mustang is in the mix. It is a white older body supercharged 5.0. The two stangs are lined up at a light getting ready to go. We roll up in the third lane which ends ahead. The white 5.0 is in between the "700rwhp" idiots and us so neither of them really even notice our little "rice car" as they call it. Light turns green and we all launch. The little 1.3 liter rotary kicked both of their asses. Once the liars in the "700rwhp" stang saw us and the white 5.0 racing they gave up. We only had to go right up to 3rd to beat them so we weren't going too fast. The 5.0 gave up too. They wouldn't even get beside us after that.
The best part is that later we were driving around and we came up behind the supercharged 5.0. The back of their stang says IMPORT INTIMIDATOR. hahahaha!! so I had to whip out the Mavica and snap a pic (sorry the pic is so bad. it's throught the winshield while we're moving). Funny Funny
