I think, after knowing how young you are to the driving scene, it is best to drive the Accord more (with the license) for a few months and then go ahead as planned with the 240Z. The 240Z is a blast to drive, but it is a sports car, and just because it is an old car, it doesn't mean it is a beginner's car. It is a good idea to become more responsible with what you have (Honda is a good car to start on) and then work your way up! From experience, it helps you appreciate the finer cars in life more than if you started in one. As for the 240Z, let me just say it is raw! It doesn't have any of the comforting quirks of the Z32, just a smooth straight six that pulls strong and has matching good handling that requires muscle into corners (a la no power steering). I think it would be interesting to work up through the evolution of Z's, I'm sure that will increase the love for the car and make you and anyone else who tries this approach appreciate the Z car much more. As for the six, there is a lot of potential in that engine, but if you really want a V8 swap, it has and can be done. I personally would like to get a 240Z to keep my 300Z company! Good luck,
