The reason the resale value is so low on the Z is because there's A LOT more out there, i think i should know since i worked at a Used Car Lot for 3 months. If toyota had picked their asses up and introduced the car in 1990 with the Z, there would be more out there. But toyota engineers (being the conservative boring type that they are) of course underestimated the Z32 and when it came out, delayed the intro of the supra so they could beat-out their competition. Toyota's are for the masses, just look at the Camry and compare it to the Maxima. I have yet to see a new car more boring than the Camry and Echo, instead of emphasizing on driving enjoyment they still make the same boring shit they used to. The only Toyota i've ever really liked was the previous generation MR2 turbos, i rode in one of those and i thought it was pretty decent.
