Message	the BOSE speakers are 1 ohm (part of the bane that is my stereo troubles) and the player is set up to send to that. to run aftermarket speakers (most are 4 or 8 ohm) you WILL want to bypass OEM amp, and run signal through an aftermarket amp. if they are charging 80 bucks to install, and are NOT putting in a separate amp to run the new speakers, get it done somewhere else or you will be pissed later. : the kenwoods 1677 sound very decent for the price. i'm using the stock bose headunit to power the stock rear bose speakers. the 6 1/2" kenwoods are up on the front, and is powered by an amp. add 2 10" subs and the system hits hard.
