Message	it will keep the exhaust heat in, so it'll be better for clearing the exhaust gasses. in reality, it's probably not going to make much of a performance difference, but it will be a nice protectant as you said. : coatings for the exhaust. I am looking into having a custom 3" exhaust made from the Down Pipes back and I want to have it coated inside and out. I am thinking this will not only act as a good protectant, but it should also help reduce the heat under the hood. : Are there any reasons this would not be good on an exhaust system? : Thanks again.
