There are a total of 4 belts on a 300ZX Z32. 3 accessory belts: Power Steering, A/C, and alternator. The 4th belt is the timing belt, which has no relation to any of the accessory belts, and which is protected by covers on the front of the engine- plastic pieces with bulges. An underdrive pulley simply replaces the stock crank pulley, and affects performance because of 2 reasons: 1.Lighter weight-less centrifugal force needed to turn, and 2.Smaller diameter, which turns the accessories (A/C, Power Steering, and the alternator) slower than the stock pulley. The crank pulley is not connected in any way to the timing belt which that it could affect your timing just by installation. FYI
