I've had 2.0.0 firmware since getting it in 2012, but want to reconfigure the background, which requires flashing to 2.0.3 (still available on the website, popformance.com/Products/GRC). Can't get the firmware to complete an update and looking for any firsthand experience. I've tried reaching out to Patrick, but it's been 10+ years since the site was updated and over a year since he's been on tt.net. Here is the original thread for reference. When I run the firmware updater, it connects to the GRC and starts the script but never flashes, it just times out. I also can't figure out how to use the "Control Panel" software to update GRC settings. There doesn't seem to be a 'send' or 'update' button. I've always used the joystick button to directly change settings, but it's super tedious and some settings don't seem to be updatable that way. Also curious if anyone has used any of the alternative gauge views (numbers only, bar graph) that Patrick showed off in his posts. I assumed they were in a later update, but don't know since I can't flash the firmware. Cool little period-correct device. Hoping someone here can help.
