I don't think it would have any effect on the brakes at all. In stock form, the wheels were designed to pull air though the brake rotor area. That venturi (if that's what I think it is) for the intercoolers is at the bottom on the car and the airflow would be directed directly to the rear and not blowing on the brake system. A lot of cars are missing them. Either by getting rubbed off during driving if the car is lowered, or just getting scraped on something. It's just a simply plastic triangular piece of plastic and sits over these slits in the plastic under-shroud under the engine. If they are missing, you'll see the slits in the plastic where the intercooler air would come of out under the car. But I think if those things are missing, then you'd have less 'venturi' effect helping to pull the warm air out of the intercooler passage behind the front wheels wells. Kind of hard to explain in words. If you saw it, I think it would make more sense. Again, it's just my opinion regarding those plastic things. I'm open to anyone else's ideas about them. Vinnie
