Message Yes, it's that time again! And this time, we're in the kitchen, rummaging the spice drawer to cook up some eye-watering results...

Greg and Seb up again for the 12th(!) Dynopalo0za event in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. 16 cars tuned over 3 days.
8 Z32s this year...here's the lineup:

So, Physics Charts order of increasing HP and spiciness. All runs STD correction 1.9. First (blue) and last (red) pulls posted for relative gain differential.

Blitz SBCidIII Boost Controller

Lorne's new to the Z32. Sold his 260Z and bought this year from a long time club member, very clean low mile TT. Ditched the boost jets and installed the Blitz EBC:

Only pic we have of it on the dyno... Matt looking into the future

First of two Zeds for Mixman this year. Added cat pipes to quiet it down and tuning with Shell 93 gave a nice result:

Absolutely stunning car from a newcomer to Amateur Z. 15 years in the build, custom Lamborghini yellow throughout, wire tucked, chrome everywhere, all done by Dean. Car's been running for 3 weeks and on the dyno she goes:

Mahesh put his red 93 back on with 3" cat pipes and a Shell 93 tune. Amazingly, he actually gained power over last year ditching the test pipes and installing the cat pipes:

'Spicy' Matt's 89 JDM TT... he would say 'Spicy!' anytime something noteable happened and at the end of the three days, we were all saying 'Spicy!'... his adjustable cam gears came too late to install for the dyno day so they're next year's upgrade. Still, close enough to 550 HP to count: (graph broke up but run was clean):

Gurdeep D Mercedes Cherry Red Slicktop

Cp pistons
Carillo rods
JWT 500 cams
GTX 2860 Gen I turbos

Port and polished heads
BDE top feed rail with ID1050’s
Single Walbro 525
Haltech platinum pro
2.5” Ash IC piping
SZ side mounts
3” SZ exhaust
MSP manifolds

Ol Red was our problem child. Car was bucking and hesitating on the first dyno session. After much diagnosing, we unwrapped the tape on the CAS harness and found some hacked nastiness... soldering iron and replacement plug were installed. Much power was made after that... Blue Base tune, Red Best 93 run, Green for E-85:

Gurdeep D Yellow Pearlglow Slicktop TT

Cp pistons
Carrillo rods
Crane cams - JWT 500 ish
GTX 2860 Gen II turbos
1mm over size Ferrea valves
Built heads
BDE top feed rail with ID1050’s
Twin Walbro pumps
Haltech elite
2.5” IC piping with Ash massive intercooler
Custom 3” turbo inlet piping
3” Billy boat exhaust
MSP manifolds

Yow! That's a Spicy Meatball! After fixing a ripped fuel line on his dual pump setup that cured a pressure drop issue, it went on to greater glory on 93 and with 825 HP on E-85 smashed our previous high score of 815. He's on next year's shirt. Blue Base tune, Red Best 93 run, Green for E-85:

Fairly drama free this year, although we had our on-dyno fixits that were mostly electrical related. Soldering kit and connectors were used, fuel pump was upgraded and plugs were changed, but every car was fairly well behaved.

Props to *Spicy* Matt F for electrical repair work, GTRJeff and MixMan for general troubleshooting, Ben for last-minute parts, Matt M and Amanda M for organization and lunches, and Joshua our dyno operator and his right hand Jasper for car strap-down and tool and shop availability.

An Amateur Z production.
