Message	Its function is to prevent all the road ass flying around under your car while driving from ending up in the transmission bell housing. Generally speaking this is probably a good thing. You don’t HAVE to have it. Is the one you have bent up and prevent bolt holes lining up? You sure it’s aligned in the proper configuration?
