Message	You ain't wrong about the boot being a pain to get off. I just took my Polar kit off recently because I wanted to switch to the BDE one and the boots were stuck to the plugs. Pulling the coils straight out without knowing only pulls the head of the coils off leaving the stalk stuck onto the plug still. Also lost a resistor that goes into the coilpack this way as it fell out when the coil itself separated. I didn't want to destroy the stalk so I had to take the whole plate off to get to the stalks. When I got the stalks off, the rubber on the bottom where rolled out. I knew something was off but reading your thoughts on it confirms my suspicion that it's not supposed to be like that.
