Message	While it won't repair a potentially damaged bearing, I'll bet you 5 internet dollars that it will affect the "Shifting into 1st" issue you guys are mentioning. I downshift at every stoplight, though not all the way to 1st. I do however sometimes downshift to 1st in traffic, nothing feels strange or different with having to wait for a certain speed or anything. My 98 trans feels identical to my OG transmission, as I believe it should. The more data points on this issue the better.
