Message	Ok, I started a full restoration on my 95 almost 5 years ago. Thought it would take a year maybe two, it took almost five. I bought a new 98 spec 5-speed, not because there was anything wrong with my original trans but just as a precaution. Well it was about three years before it was ever installed, but when it was I changed the fluid it was shipped with with Redline 90. All seemed fine, but then last week, after about 600 miles, it just started whining, really badly, in any gear when driving and when stopped with the clutch depressed. It stops when I let the clutch out in neutral and starts again when I push in the clutch. From what I have read its the input shaft bearing. Of course Nissan won't do a damn thing about. Has anyone actually had one of these fixed?
