Message	ignition switch to turn using the key. Assumed the switch had failed and had it replaced. The same symptoms appeared years later and this time I took a different approach. Tried a spare key and the switch worked fine. Had another key cut and threw away the key that failed to operate the switch. A lot simpler and inexpensive. . Chance favors the informed
