Message	with its windows down is if the chassis was absolutely rust free. I see you're in Texas, so that very well could be the case. I'd bet on electrical gremlins. Interior parts are getting hard to find and expensive. If the chassis is accident free and rust free, you might be able to make it a viable project if you found a mechanically and electrically sound TT with rust issues and swapped everything over to the clean rolling chassis.
