Message their claims are correct. The pushback from these to divorced wastegates are the increased spool up / lag. I will tell you if the Z is setup right with all the breather mods, you do not notice any lag on the street and it's more wide open at top end w/stable boost.

I also will tell you years ago I experimented with super split divorced downpipes by Labree and the spool up was insane. Z felt like it was a crack when I hit the throttle (smaller turbos then -- can't remember but not stock). However, at top end - it did increase my EGTs and hurt the motor as a result.

So the big deal (as we know), is tuning, stable boost, and lower EGTs. Having open style downpipes allowed for lower EGTs at wide open throttle.

imho - If you don't run wide open, high boost, have the corresponding breather mods ( intercooler piping, 3inch exhaust, intercoolers, larger turbos ) --- not worth it ... go with the supersplits design for best boost response especially if you are not pushing 18+ PSI
