|I noticed in your profile you’re in the Okanogan area. Not sure if that’s accurate, or if you’re now in the lower mainland? Either way, I don’t let anyone here touch my car regardless. In my experience, most shops don’t do the proper checks beforehand, and just throw it on the dyno and let er rip. Most also seem to think 16-18 psi is a good number for pump 94, which is false. Our 94 is a dumpster fire and I HIGHLY recommend you run the new shell 93 if you have it nearby, it is MILES better than the chevron fake news 94.
HERE is what you need to do……
1. Pay the shop what you owe, and get your car back
2. Message Rob(VorpalZ) to be put on the dyno weekend email list, and wait until next summer for when SZ flys into Edmonton. They do this every year
3. Drive the Z down to AB and have it looked at and tuned by Seb.
I have done this 3 times, and would do it again if I had to re-tune for any reason. It’s a good time, and even if it costs a bit more in tuning/travel expenses, it’s better than being beat around the bush with whatever shop you’re currently with.
