it will last longer than anything else. there are no clutch discs or viscous coupler to wear out. you don't have to use a special gear oil in them and they are usually cheaper and easy to install. i don't track my car, but from what i have read, a 1.5 or 2 way lsd is better for those that do. so for you one of those would probably be better. but for me a quaife or s15 helical diff is a great upgrade over a worn out viscous unit.
