Message with periods of poor quality, periods of better quality, and some flat-out bad designs (ie - Ford Triton V8 spark plugs....). Some manufacturers more-so- than others.

I've had my 2013 F150 since 2014. Has 155k on it and probably 50% of the mileage since COVID hit has been pulling boats and/or horses. Over the past 50k I think I've only done routine maintenance (brakes, oil, trans fluid, air filter, etc).

Cam Phasers and Steering angle sensor were the only big issues I dealt with, with the phasers being done under warranty. Obviously not ideal, but really no different than early-model issues that Nissan had with the Z33 (PTU, early valve issues, etc)
