Message	People pay for the little details and many times originality wins over someone to pay a LOT more than buying something else to try to turn it into something it wasn't born as. I'm not sure why this is confusing to you. You either want the original thing or you want to modify the thing. If you fall in the 2nd camp, you don't value originality like many collectors do. But that's probably because you just care about how it drives.
