Great looking Z! I have been a Z driver since 1972 and have always covered my car when it sits outside. When at home the Z does have an enclosed garage, but each generation has all been pretty much my daily driver until 2009 when I retried. Every time the car was going to sit out for more than 2 hours I would cover it no matter where I was, unless it was raining ("...but it never rains in California"). My '90TT still has the original paint and people are always asking me where I got it painted.
One key is to not put it on if the car is dirtier than normal road dust.
