Message	Corey, where did you read that? I know a lot of cars where considered when the C5 was designed. Chief of which was the C4 not the FD. Sure they got styling cues from it as well as the NSX but the C5 was NOT based on the FD. Heck, take a look at the Firebird and tell me if you can't also see the same lines in the FD. Many auto makers do it but very few will look at one car for thier inspiration. The guys at Design Staff in Warren's Tech Center certainly didn't.
