I'm not disagreeing, as I'm not a scientist, but why add a heavyweight material when lighter silicone or aluninum is available. Pluss the expense and tooling becomes great. I can not say in over 20 + years arounbd racing that I have seen copper used as a hose. Houses yes - cars no - in my estimation. Regards : . That is why it is used in heating and cooling a/c compressors and condensors. The draw back to copper is that it will corrode and is softer than aluminum. : Mike
