:My '90 TT speedometer has quit, I have reached out to DVDBURN via text and email without luck. I have heard he is buried with work, both day-job and Z32, and not responding to new requests.
:I live in Southern California and have reached out to speedometer shops to see if any of them can do a repair, no luck.
:Has anyone had their gauge repaired by someone other than Gary? I have a classified posted for a replacement if anyone has a lead.
:Thanks in advance for whatever advise you can provide. I found an Electrical Engineer that is experienced in PCB analysis and repair that is willing to take a look at my speedometer. He will be able to tell me if the solder connections are sound and if the common components are good. If the infrastructure test good then I will know to put the dash back together until Gary gets caught up. I don't want to wait 6-8 months for Gary, only to find out it was a bad solder connection. I will post the out come in a few weeks.
