Most decent pump fuels already have additives in them to prevent deposits, etc. The only additive I use is fuel stabilizer if storing the car. Our fuel in Canada varies greatly (moreso than the USA) through the year due to our more significant temperature changes seasonally. Fall sees us start adding more butane to achieve a higher RVP to help the engine start easier in colder temperatures, but is more susceptible to knock. Likely not a problem if you're using the fuel in the appropriate conditions. Come spring, the refiners start reducing the RVP.
