I'm in no way an expert with cameras and iv'e only ever used my gopro for scuba diving but, i sometimes use a run of the mill canon point & shoot camera for video recording - the same ones most of the youtuber use and they all use what is essentially a little piece of fluff on top of the microphone to filter out wind noise - or a foam style one if they have an external microphone plugged into a DSLR type. I tried it the foam type on my point and shoot, it reduced the wind noise by a very noticable amount, however it was £15 for a piece of fluff with velcro the size of my thumb, which made me feel like i was being ripped off.. however it did the trick. Something similar must exist for a gopro
