back in the early 2000s. I installed some Tein SS coilovers for my GSR (which I loved... both the car and the coilovers), but I remember a buddy of mine getting these for his car... with the Tokico Illuminas. I have an ongoing internal debate on which route I'll eventually go. The Tein Flex Zs v. a straight spring replacement. Coilovers have the appeal of all new parts in one package, but I'm not sold on losing the in-car switch between stiff and super stiff... then again, I really don't ever change it. Yea, I know they have their EDFC, but that's overkill for me. Changing springs is a bit more work, but the cost is appealing. I would keep the factory shocks (and in-car switching), and bank on the fact that I don't drive a ton. If they wear out, well, they'll wear out and I'll have to replace them.
