| I was finally able to land a set of Advan VS5 wheels and I'd just like to get some opinions on the tire sizes I should consider. This is my first go at getting new wheels for any car. Aside from upper control arms, my suspension and brake setup is stock and I intend to keep it that way. My main priority is looks and ride comfort. This is just a weekend cruiser, I'm not looking for to race or anything else aggressive. I also saw from a past post that a 10mm spacer was recommended on the fronts for caliper clearance. Front are 18x8.5 +45offset
Rear are 18x9.5 +40offset From looking at other member setups with these wheels, it seems 275/35/18 would be ideal for the rears. However everyone seems to have 17s on the front so not sure what to go with up there for 18s. 255/35/18? I got that by playing around with the app on wheel-size.com and trying to get the fronts close to the same overall diameter as the rears. Am I on the right track here?
