here. With a battery in good condition, no issues starting even after parked all day outside. And that's with good synthetic oils which have a pour temperature down to -50°C. -40°C up here and it's business as usual. No school cancellation, no not making it in to work. Most failures in starting at extreme colds are either an old/poor condition battery, or frozen fuel lines (which rarely happen these days with ethanol blended gasoline as it acts like a gasline antifreeze). It's actually worse for the battery to start your car every few hours for a few minutes. It won't charge up nearly as fast.
