Message there who has done plenty of work on the Z32 (been there for 25 years). I agree with Polishzx - First, for any enhancements, it's a very good idea to have intimate knowledge of what's being done. Secondly, if he's going to be paying anyone to do work on the car, it's going to be pricey. There's not much getting around that... and that goes for any paid work on any car, really.

Now, I want to be careful to not overstate this, and I don't know your grandson's access to tools and mechanical confidence, BUT the general work on the car isn't that terrible once you're into it. Intimidating, yes, but I prepare as best as I can and just jump in and take my time. The technical info is out there, whether it's through the tech pages here, YouTube or other sites like Robo's.

I don't know of anyone in Pittsburg (I'm in Greencastle, PA), but Brett Ramey is in Cincinnati, and Bernie is down in Alexandria, VA - roughly same distance from Pittsburgh.

Good luck to him - let him know he needs to get on here, too! It's been the best resource for me since I bought my '91 back in 2018.
