Message	It controls the gauge needle movement, the odometer motor for milage and it sends the speed signal to the ECU. Symtoms are... 1. The gauge needle may not display the correct speed. It may act erratic such as slow movement, jump all around, move all the way to the right or not move at all. 2. The odometer will not work correctly or not at all. 3. With no speed signal to the ECU you may have loss of cruise control, a hard steering problem, HICAS malfunction or transmission shifting problems with an automatic transmission.
