I'm referring to the glassy black strip at the end of the door edge that runs the length of the window. Presumably this was to give the window and passenger window a single glossy look. Getting car repainted, and wondering what people have done. Options are to do glossy black (stock), or matte charcoal, the color of the moldings next to it, and the weather stripping at the window edges. I'm thinking about it because I don't think any other part on the car exterior is black (possibly top of t-top) let alone glossy. Didn't think I had to make a choice, but there you go.
