Message	fuel pump rear connector with a hidden push button switch mounted up front for easy reach by the driver. Pushed the button while starting the car and the relay latched supplying power to the pump. It reset when the key was turned off. I went with the relay setup for better reliability and super simple construction. I could’ve built something all solid state but worried about getting dependable parts for a high temperature interior environment. Had the setup for 15 yrs or so... A side benefit - it made depressurizing the fuel system very easy too, lol...
