Message	OE gaskets or OE replacement gaskets would be preffered. Cutting is difficult but i would use a cold chisel again a metal surface and after marking where you need to cut away slowly use the chisel and dead blow hammer and "cut" away at it. You dont need it to be exact but if you can access a few different size chisels or get good enough with a decent sized one you can get good cutout from it.
