Message I'm going through this conversion myself at the moment with the SZ route. Costing me about $1500, and only about half cost(SZ tune/switcher) of that is 'non transferrable' to a haltech conversion (rest is FPR, pump, ethanol sensor, etc).

I have just about every other bolt on you can do.

If I wanted haltech, or similar, as noted above, it's going to probably be another ~$2k in hardware, then I believe you still need to get it dyno tuned (+~$800?). Cost wise, not worth it for me to go that route.

I'm not looking to get every ounce of power and efficiency out, and monitor every engine parameter. I don't race my car, I'm lucky if I take it for a cruise once a month for a smile.

I trust the SpecialtyZ flex tunes will be safe and reliable as received.

I assume money is a factor and you have some budget in mind, so I would list out what is needed to implement going either route, and see where the cost lands. Then factor in pros and cons to each.

2+2=4; 2+0=2; 4>2 : 2+2 > 2+0.

Can anyone whos removed the headlights just by going
through the turn signal hole, post a pic of their arms? Im
just
wondering if you have little tiny arms, or if you can
somehow
dislocate your wrists?...Im not saying im huge or
anything,
because im not - Ebola 23:10:42 01/20/05
