We have 2-3 stations here in the BC lower mainland for corn, it’s a game changer. I know in Calgary there IS one pump station, so do the switch!!! A Vg on stock turbos will do 500whp on e85, fact. My 530s do 572whp on e85(full breather though), and only 420whp on pump. It’s 150whp+ gain 210ft lbs+ gain over pump..... and it’s safer..... so going that route will be your cheapest, and easiest way of achieving 500whp reliably. I will say though, my next Z (and there will be a next Z) will have a different platform. Not that the Vg isn’t capable, but besides I’d like to try something different (in-line 6), and because the options for turbos and aftermarket products far outweigh the VG world unfortunately.. we can’t even get vband manifolds after all these years. The point of this story is... go e85 regardless of which platform you choose!
