Finally did it. Paperwork signed, getting loaded onto a truck in sunny Florida next week heading to smokey San Francisco. The Z will be travelling to my parents garage and wrapped in a protective cocoon from their awful cats for the time being (I'm not sure when they turned into cat people, but they have). The car is a 2008 997 Turbo Cab 6spd 28k miles, with a total 80's looking color scheme inside (from the factory), which I totally dig, and a few goodies installed (exhaust, intake). Now all I need to do it buy a bigger place so I can park both my Z and the 997 in the same garage. I've decided not to sell the Z, I know I would regret it, I've put too much time and $$ into it, it's my first love, and you know what they say, you never really get over your first love, so why part with it? Plus, I would miss having a reason to come visit this forum. Some fun overlap between my Z and the 997. Both are white, both have black interior, both are manuals, both have a dated stereo, both cost too much money to keep running, and both have averaged around the same miles driven per year, 2,440 miles/year for my Z & 2,300 miles/year for the 997. I hope they get along :) Here are some pics, I am pretty excited to take it up the coast when these fires subside.
