Yes, the center linkage can be disassembled. There’s a little pin that needs to be removed so the shaft can be removed. It’s in either the throttle or cruise control attachment. Take pictures so you know how it goes back together. For that bearing, it definitely needs replacing since the dust shield is gone. Maybe a slide hammer. Or attack it from the other side and tap it out with a screwdriver. Work your way around the edge of it and try not to gouge the hell out of the metal. I can’t remember how I got mine out since it’s been a while.
