I was unable to add recent photos do to some weird issue with photobucket. I final dyno'd my 240z with a VG30DET (Cima Heads and lower intake). This was my first attempt at tuning my own vehicle, I purchased a tuning courses from HP Academy as I wanted to understand fuel and timing maps more to possibly help me with my other projects. So to say the least I was very conservative with boost/RPM/timing and fuel. (Highly recommend the courses they offer)
With me being in SoCal and having 91 fuel I did not want to boost more than 12psi, I capped rpm for the dyno to 6k ( no real reason), timing was 15 degrees and my AFR were 11.0 -11.2. I was tuning with an Adaptronic Select ECU and it was pretty damn easy to use.
I will be flying Ztuner out to tune this car, my Z32 and my Rx-7 in September. So i'll save the real tuning to the professionals.
The car is currently at the paint shop, I still have alot to do but this was a huge boost to get me back to finishing my projects.
Made 329Rwhp and 317 FT-Lb (VTC was never activated), we also ran into issues on day one of tuning when the wastegate diaphragm tore, the over boost setting in the ecu cut fuel for the boost cut. Day 2 was smooth, with no issues.
