Will a completely stock setup even work? The single largest contributor to a harsh ride is a solid tension rod. Even pretty stiff coilovers will be reasonable. When I installed my Powertrix SS coils I barely noticed a difference. (from stock suspension) Stock will definitely be the most comfortable, but really pricey, especially when you look at replacing all the bushings in the stack in the process. KYB/Eibach is a solid ride with a little drop that a lot of people like. With your power I think the stock suspension will struggle to keep the car settled. In a straight line you might be ok but don't think about goosing it in any kind of a bend.
