Funny you should also mention the Re-71s, as I have a brand new set that just arrived today for a GTR. I have found those to be the best non-R rated tire I've ever had on any car. It's a bummer that you have 18s, as I have a practically new rear pair of the Bridgestone RE-11s in a 245/45/16, that I took off when I bought the R888Rs. I looks like we have pretty similar set ups, and you would absolutely be blown away by the R888Rs. They are beyond grippy in turns and straights, are quiet, seem to be wearing well, and were safe in the rain. Tire Rack has the 275/35/18 at $280. Are they "more" in Canada? What about having someone in Washington buy them for you, and throw them over the border?
