Catalyst poisoning is only an issue if the engine burns significant oil with T6 or similar oils My L-series runs a loose piston clearance to withstand high boost so it does burn a bit when cold...last thing I want with that engine is to have it tighten up on the back cylinders. 5&6 run hot due to coolant flow issues. I should have manifolded the coolant return externally but didn't. The VG30's are starting to show the effects of modern oils in camshaft/lifter wear, even in NA cars. Lots of flattened lobes and scored lifter faces.
