Message Thanks for all the feedback guys.

I was getting ready to start it last weekend until I discovered my TPS was bad so had to wait a week till part arrived.

Anyway, got it set and started up. Oil pressure came right up and ran great for about 10 seconds when I heard a spurting sound and lifters started making noise. Shut off and discovered I forget the plug on the driver side oil feed line at the restrictor block.

After cleaning up all the oil and put a plug in, refilled oil, and tried again. Started right up and after a short while lifter tick went away. Ran and idled well. Now onto setting timing.

I did discover two small coolant leaks front the front and passenger side (near turbo) that I need to address, but I can handle this for my first time rebuild and engine swap.

Thanks again z community for wisdom and advice.
