Message	with no hotspots and dim just fine. Also did the gauge pods with resistors and off the shelf 3mm LEDs from a local supplier... More choice now than a few years ago, got my multi-segment from superbright, I believe they were the 194 to plug into the twist base for the gauge cluster: Super Bright LED Instrument Panel bulbs
