Message Here are my thoughts on the Z1 shifters.

The good:
-New, some people like new shinny stuff (although you can't see it once installed)
-roller bearing (if you do not over tighten the bushing bolt).

IMHO the bad:
-Their new pivot ball plastic cage and retainer ring are cheap, main reason the shifter drops when they fall apart. I bought a couple new sets from a local for OEM rebuilds and they are garbage.
-The rubber grease seals are less then OEM quality, Ive had 2/3 new rip when installing, even with a little bit of heat and grease.
-Little tricky to install because of the 2 extra washers for the lower bushing and the shifter can be over tightened.(note: I have only installed one of these Z1 shifters)
-Over priced for what it is. (again IMHO)
