Message	You can check the operation of a LSD by jacking up the rear end and spin one tire by hand, if both wheel turn forward together the LSD is ok. If one tire turns opposite, it is defective and you're running like an open diff. VLSD are pretty stout, self contained units. Z1 put up a neat video where they cut one in half and you can see the sticky silicon fluid and clutch disks inside.
