||I cant speak for how all ecus run the calcs, but for link g4+, they update engine speed at every tooth seen. Under heavy accel we can expect some pretty decent engine speed changes during engine cycles.
Most of the people going towards crank triggers are on the higher hp end of scale and expect greater rate of change in engine speed.
Anyway, I went with the 36-2 over the 12 each to their own. There's plenty more knowledgeable people on the subject than me.
